Is Your Language Rooted in Antisemitism?

One of the oldest antisemitic tropes is the lie that Jews control the world and therefore are the cause of all of the world’s problems.

How can you fight the rising tide of anti-Jewish hate? I’m so glad you asked!

An important way to demonstrate your allyship is by educating others who use harmful language such as “wealthy elites” or “international elites.” These terms are all well-established antisemitic dog whistles:

➡️ Wealthy elite
➡️ International elite
➡️ Global special interests
➡️ Global financial powers
➡️ Globalists
➡️ International bankers

Did you know that Hitler often portrayed Jewish people as rootless “international elements” threatening the German nation?

Today’s antisemites use more coded language to portray Jews as a cabal of powerful “international forces” who use their connections to control banks, governments, and media around the world.

Let’s make this actionable, folx:

✅ The next time you hear someone invoke an antisemitic trope, don’t stay silent.
✅ Often the person who made the comment isn’t aware of the harm that they caused.
✅ Without blaming or shaming, simply say, “you may not be aware of this, but what you said is antisemitic because….”
