Peace, For Real

I have a heavy heart because the truce ended. I fear a future of endless war and a wider, even more devastating conflict in the Middle East.

My family lives in Israel, and I'll admit that sometimes it’s difficult to remember my life before Oct. 7. My heart goes out to all who are directly or indirectly impacted by this crisis, including those with loved ones in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem.

My thoughts...

πŸ•Š Every Israeli and Palestinian in the region deserves to live in peace.

πŸ•Š The end of the occupation and a new vision of equality, reconciliation, and coexistence is the only viable and just solution.

πŸ•Š Don’t give up on peace in the Middle East, friends.

As Nobel Peace Prize Winner Jane Adams declared, "True peace is not merely the absence of war, it is the presence of justice.”
